HOLY COW!!! I just had lunch today with some amazing ladies...at this new restaurant in Memphis called Acre.
Can I please tell you how FANTABULOUS this place is?!?!!? So great that I kept taking pictures in the middle of the convos and eating...just so I could share with all you wonderful people :)
Check out the full story here.
But for those just wanting the run down...here you go!
Acre was a rennovated home turned restaurant that opened in 2011 in Memphis TN . Chef and General Manager Wally Joe (whom I met today) and Executive Chef Andrew Adams partnered up with longtime Memphians Frank and Mary Stanley to create this unique restaurant. The architect was Doug Enoch and the interiors were created by Gwen Driscoll...both locals!
And boy did they do their job...and do it WELL!!! Check it out...
Yellow door...LOVE! And there were pops of yellow (minimal) throughout the space which I loved. Be warned now...I am going to say LOVE a lot in this post :)
The horse theme was carried out throughout the space...which I LOVED!!! I mean...this restaurant might have well been my dream home HAHA!
Cozy seating!! And every seat is a good seat here...which is hard to accomplish!! I also love all the rustic tables and chairs mixed with white, clean lined tables and chairs.
Bar area. Gotta love the Elvis painting :)
Lighting design in the bar area. All of the lighting was VERY well done!
The wallpaper on the walls and ceiling were great!! It looked like the bugs were pressed in gold on the ceiling...too cool!
Now you KNOW I love any room that has ANTLERS in it :)
Outdoor seating for gorgeous days like today.
So there you have it...my dream house turned restaurant :)
If anyone is in Memphis...this is a MUST on your to do list!!!
Hope you are all having a FABO week!
